Connecting bode series 12 sound system to samusum mu8000 tv

How do I connect a bose lifestyle 12 series is system to a Samsung mu8000 tv? The tv has only hdmi ports and 1 optical digital audio output. Is there an optical adapter for RCA?

You can get an optical to analog converter.
Check the TV manual on how to turn on and configure the optical output. Some converters will only accept a PCM input so make sure that the TV can be set for PCM output or make sure to get one that accepts a 5.1 input. You will also need an optical cable and RCA stereo cable.
