Solved! Connecting hdtv to dell 1525 throu HDMI

Hello,
I connected HDMI cable to TV and DEll 1525 laptop, I can see only Desk top Picture on TV screen, I can't see live video like Y tube..from laptop

So, are you trying to see youtube videos and such from the TV or the laptop lcd? If you are trying to view from the laptop lcd with the tv hooked in, you cannot do that, as the lcd automatically deactivates. If it is the other way around, go into your display settings to ensure that your tv is selected as the main display/only monitor.
