connecting laptop to tv

I would like to know how to hook Toshiba satellite c855d-s5103 to my Magnavox flatscreen tv. The HDMI port on laptop is blocked off with a plastic piece that is not removable, what other options if any do I have to resolve this issue? thank you in advance Carrie

Hi, you don't have a HDMI port, the plastic covers the port for the models who don't have the port. If your TV have a VGA input, you can use that port to connect your laptop.
