Connecting Laptops Webcam to PC

I don't have a webcam and I am trying to connect my laptops webcam to my PC. I tried yawCam but the quality is terrible. Is there a way i can directly connect? Something over IP? both are connected to the same router. I can easily do it with phone to PC but i want to use my laptop as its easier to position and i don't want to overheat my phone. Im trying to stream over OBS if that information helps

But you'll never match what a good-quality external PC webcam is capable of, that's the only way to do it if you want acceptable quality.
