Connecting Samsung tv to the internet

My Samsung tv will not connect to the internet...I have tried setting the DNS manually to 8 8 8 8..no success it tells me the IP address is wrong...the IP address is set at 0 0 0 0, I know how to change it but don’t know what the address should be...would be very grateful if you could help me.

What it is connection to? the ip address should be assign by the modem/router.

It is the IP address on the TV itself ...it is showing 0 0 0 0 and tells me this is wrong but I don’t know what to change it to...thanks.

Wi -fi working fine on tablet and phone...won’t connect on tv....it says no network connection, it has worked ok in the past

you mean it said no signal? what is the exact model of this tv?
option to pick Ethernet(cable) or wifi for network?

I can get my network on the screen and when I try to connect it says no network connection.
It is a Samsung...UE46ES6900

I can get my network on the screen...when I press connect it tells me no internet connection and shows the red cross on the screen as no connection.
