Question Connecting soundbar to TV

My sound died on my Sanyo tv so I want to connect my vizo sound bar to my Sanyo tv using digital audio but the digital audio on my tv and my sound bar are both output so can someone tell me what I need to buy to convert one output into a input thanks

You can't configure an output to an input, but a soundbar should have an input on it not an output. What model exactly do you have?
