Hello, I have checked all the threads available here already on the subject. However, I still cannot find a solution to my issue.

I currently have a samsung Non bluetooth tv. To avoid the issue of wires etc, I want to create surround sound via bluetooth speakers. I recently purchased a Bluetooth audio receiver (The Decrescent Bluetooth Music Audio Receiver with 3.5mm Jack http://www.amazon.co.uk/Decrescent-Bluetooth-Receiver-Stereo-Speaker/dp/B00A25WBLO/ )

Although as soon as I read the instructions it was apparent that this wouldn't work, as they only explain how to pair with other bluetooth devices using a pin code to pair up. I.e. its only meant for phones, tablets etc.

I tried to install but it would not pair. Any specific advice would be most welcome. I'm tearing my hair out here!

Ideally, I'd also like to be able to pair any bluetooth speakers with the mixer for my DJ Decks. Although the TV issue is the most pressing at present

Solution
You could add a bluetooth transmitter to your TV like this one

and that would pair with any bluetooth speaker but you will not be able to get surround sound. Bluetooth speaker don't work in stereo pairs either as far as I know; just mono.
A HTiB with wireless speakers would minimize cables.
You could also use a Sonos Playbar which connects to the TV optical out and add a Sonos Sub, Sonos Boost, and 2 Sonos Play speakers to do surround sound and only need to be plugged into AC for power.
You could use any bluetooth transmitter for your DJ rig.
