cooling pad for the dell L502X

I have a dell L502X laptop that overheats. I am looking for a cooling pad that fits since I have a 9 cell battery attached to it and most of them available do not cool the laptop and some are not even comfortable as they raise the laptop.Is there one that is a good fit, makes almost no noise and if possible light weight?

the laptop dell L502X that I have makes a lot of sound from the fan. Its as though its clashing blades with another part. is that serious or do I just buy a cooling pad, check the condition and leave it be?

You probably should get the laptop's fan repaired/replaced and get a cooling pad.
