Not so fast with the Snapdragon laptops. At least for now, they are facing some of the same peripheral driver issues, or lack thereof, that Windows 7 faced when it was first released. For Snapdragon Windows machines, it appears that printer drivers are woefully MIA. I just ran into this with a commercial client who purchased a new Surface Pro with Snapdragon processor. Now he can't print to any of the Brother or HP printers in his office.
Until such time as the Snapdragon manufacturer, Microsoft and printer makers can get their act together, it may be prudent to hold off jumping this particular hay ride until they've got all the wheels working.
