^^^ The OP lives in Canada so those laptops will be over his budget. For example a Dell Inspiron 15 7559 with the Core i5-6300HQ and GTX 960m costs around $1,200 CAD.
For $800 CAD you are definitely not going to get a 500GB SSD. You would not even get that in a $800 USD laptop.
I am not sure what other requirements you have, but if you are looking for a laptop to play games and also do homework / study, then the following Acer laptop might be your best bet. At least in the US, Acer sells the least expensive laptops with dedicated GPUs.
This a is 14" Acer laptop with a Core i5-5200u, nVidia 940m and a 1366x768 resolution screen for $700 CAD.
