I just saw the following ad on craigslist for a 50 inch plasma. Anyone know how much this would cost to be repaired? I really don't know much about TV's so I could use some expert advise. Thanks, you guys are awesome!

PROFESSIONAL BUYERS ONLY: THIS IS A DEAL FOR YOU!!!
MODEL#TH-58PH10UK,SERIAL#PG71720051 JUNE07. THE TV HAS A BROKEN SECOND PLASMA SCREEN BUT OTHER WISE IT'S IN GOOD CONDITION,IF YOU CAN GET THE SCREEN FIXED OR USE IT FOR PARTS.

I'd be skeptical. TH-58P etc... indicates it's a 58" Panasonic plasma, not 50". Plasma's have dropped so much in price, spring for a new one. Plasma's also dim over time, how much has it been used?

Second option is to find the make and model and contact the CEO of that company and ask them to replace/repair it for free. (Less then 5 yrs old) Thats what I did and I got a new LCD out of it instead of my piece of crap Plasma!

I have one (I'm in FL but TV is currently in Texas!)
It is Brand New. I shipped it to a customer and FedEx Broke the screen en route.
It is still in it's box. Just the top of the box is opened and upper packing materials removed to take photos for the Shipping Insurance, It is a Panasonic TC-50PS14

Advice from a pro who has worked in a Panasonic authorized service center:
I would not buy anything made by Panasonic. I would rather have Sony.

Are you still interested in a TV. I have one with the glass screen broken.

Hi, I have a 50inch Panasonic TV that broke yesterday, the power lights up but there is no picture or sound, its 2years old. If your interested let me know.
