Solved! Cracked glass screen not responding

I have an Xperia Z3 and I dropped it and shattered the screen. I can live with the cracked glass, but the screen itself is not responding. I have asked the repair shops if changing the screen will help this but they just avoid the question. If I pay to replace the screen, will the phone work again, or does this mean there is internal damage and my phone needs more help than just new glass??

don't know until they replace the screen. then if it still doesn't work then it might be some internal damage.
