will a usb iso creation of windows 7 pro 64bit reduce my usb capacity like memtest86 does.?

Solution

If you create a windows install on that USB, you pretty much can't use it for anything else until you are done.

After you're done with the windows install (or memtest), reformat it and get the whole 8GB back.
memtest86 reduced my total capacity(used & unused) from 8gb to couple of mb and changed the usb. im wondering if windows 7 will do it too

Well Win7 Pro's ISO is around 3 something GB. But you'll have extract it to the flash drive with something like Rufus.

Since you cant use an ISO to boot from / install windows. Rufus will also format the flash drive

Memtest is way smaller than Win7 though
