customizing my laptop

I have a HP COMPAQ 6715s (AMD Sempron)laptop, the palm rest mainboard casing has been damaged, There is a small crack near where you connect to a monitor or projector. 🙁

I'm planing to replace it but i want to replace the casing of another laptop model that suits with mine!

If its possible please guide me on customizing my laptop(only mainboard body casing not the specs!)
And please direct me where i can buy these spares online that ships worldwide!

Doubtful that your laptop innards would fit in a different case. Another one of the same model, sure. A different model? Probably not.

eBay, HP, your local parts guy?
I've seen similar, nonfunctioning, machines on eBay for $10-$20. If all you need is the case, go for it.
