Depends on what you mean by daisy chaining. If you connect the plus terminals and minus terminals of both speakers to the plus/minus on the amp then they are in parallel which halves the impedance (4 Ohms). If you connect the plus of the amp to plus on the first speaker, the minus of that speaker to the plus of the second speaker and the minus of the second speaker to the minus terminal of the amp then they are in series which will double the impedance (16 ohms).
