i would suggest you to explore the 2nd hand market for gaming laptops. i personally have an ASUS G50VT-X5 which came with a nVidia 512 mb graphics card. its about 2-3 years old but can still run games like Crysis 2 and Skyrim without any problem with the frame rate. don't focus too much on the video ram size, always look at the core configuration of the gpu. to get a detailed, try searching 'nvidia comparison' or 'ati comparison' on wikipedia. it will point you to a list of latest nVidia and ATi GPUs with their detailed configuration. once you know which gpu you would like, u can compare its detailed performance on
