Delete Content You've Downloaded from the Apple App Store

If you have downloaded apps or other content from the Apple App Store, you may eventually want to remove them. It's easy to do. Here's how:

    ■Turn on your iOS 8 device by pressing the Sleep/Wake button.
    ■Slide your finger towards right on the screen (screen saying slide to unlock) to unlock your iPhone.

    ■From the Home screen, tap and hold an app icon until the all if the apps start wiggling.
    ■Once this happens, locate the desired app that you have downloaded from the App Store and tap the 'X' sign from the top-left corner of the icon.
    Note: In case you want to remove any individual file (not an installed app), you can long tap (tap and hold) the file, and from the displayed context menu, tap Delete.

    ■Finally, tap Delete from the opened box to delete the content.

Note: Once you have removed the unwanted content from your Apple device, in order to you must re-download it from the Apple App Store to get it back. If you have already purchased an item and removed it from your device, you are not required to pay for the same item again.
