Solved! Deleting my call history

I have a ZTE Blade V8. I am trying to figure out how to delete my call history since it is getting quite long.

I have searched online and nothing has worked. They point to a menu, icon or a clock and so on to which when i try it either is not there or it does not have the drop down menu I need to do what I need to do.

I have done it once before and it was not through conventional methods. I have had to go to the apps settings on my phone but have tried that and nothing is giving me an option to delete my call history.

I have searched the forums so I would not clog up with another question but I did not see it so far a solution to my problem.

In my Android version under recent calls, I can select Delete, and then either click on "delete all" or select the calls to be deleted one at a time.

same here. my recent calls list has the option to delete all. phone app - recent calls - (drop down menu) delete all

my phone has android 7 on it like your phone should have.
