Solved! dell charging issue

i have dell laptop it is 5 year old and i am facing very strange problem while charging. when i plug in my adapter to laptop it shows charging and the charging led in laptop glows and after few seconds the led turn into red light and shows notification that please connect charger battery low and again after few seconds it led turn s white and shows its charging and this process continue in same manner.
i had checked the output of my adapter with multimeter and its showing me 19v dc its ok i think so and even i am avle to use my laptop without battery by just adapter. i dont think that adapter is not working properly.
my dell laptop has os win10 64bit
inspiron 15
if anyone has face the same problem then please help out me.
