hello, this is likely a hardware problem.
to check if it's the screen fault or not, connect an external monitor. If external has the same problem, the fault is with motherboard and/or GPU (expensive replacement/maintenance will be needed, find out what the prices are and compare with the price of getting a new laptop).
If the external monitor is fine, then it's your laptop screen that has the problem, fortunately it's easier to fix. you could replace the screen yourself if needed.
