Dell Inspiron 15 3000 series Help

Just purchased new and can not get DVD/ cd to be recognized. Need help please, very frustrating

Does this happen with all DVDs/CDs or just a specific one?

If it is all of them, then I would be contacting the place you bought it from and getting them to replace it. A new computer should not give that problem.

However, if it is just one or two specific DVDs/CDs, then I would look at them being the issue and not the computer. Especially if they are burned ones.
