Dell Inspiron 15" 3000

I left my Dell Inspiron 15" 3000 laptop plugged in for a month and did not use it and now it won't turn on? Could it be the battery?

Does it switch on without the battery?

No and no lights are on either.

If it doesn't switch on while being plugged into the ac then it could be the power jack itself. First, have you tried it with another battery to make sure it is not a battery thing?
