The speakers in my dell Inspiron 15-7000 gaming randomly crack for no reason, even when there is no audio being played. It had wavv max audio previously installe as the audio device/driver, and it started cracking while playing audio, not like now where it does it while not playing audio. I tried changing and updating the audio driver to Realtek hd audio, which sounds worse than it originally was with wavv max, but doesn’t crack while playing audio, and now the speakers crack randomly while not playing audio. What could be the cause of this and how could I permanently remedy it?

Realtek is just messing with us.Their Driver made my mic and speakers go wild(the bad way).I suggest uninstalling the realtek driver and use the Pre installed driver, that worked for me!

Thanks for the advice, but where and how would I uninstall it and reinstall the wavv-max driver? I don't know where it is?

You just uninstall the device in Device Manager (right-click on it and select Uninstall). If prompted to "delete driver software for this device," check the box and proceed.

Once it's gone, click on "Scan for hardware changes" under "Action," or restart the computer. The native Windows driver should automatically load. *Note that Windows updates might try to overwrite this driver*

I tried that and it worked for about 20 seconds and then it came back, I am using headphones now and the same things occur. Wavv-Max is still installed but I cant change anything from within the pre installed application... what should I do now?
