Hi, trying to make a decision with a limited budget. I'm not a hardcore gamer but I want to be able to play Borderlands(all), Fallout 4, Wasteland 2(and 3 in the future) and similar games. Besides the price, is the only major difference is the video card?

Thx!

Solution
The Dell Inspiron 15 7000 is more appropriate to play games. It has a quad core CPU, but more importantly, it has a GTX 960m which most gamers would consider to be minimum GPU that would be considered a "gaming GPU".

The Dell Inspiron 15 5000 has a dual core i7-7500u which is actually adequate to play games. In games that are CPU dependent having a quad core CPU can provided better performance. For example, in Fallout 4 a desktop with a dual core i3-6100 and a GTX 980 Ti gets an average of 85 FPS. A quad core i5-4790k and the GTX 980 Ti gets an average 98 FPS. That's based on benchmarks from Techspot that I looked at yesterday to reply to a different topic.

However, the Radeon R7 M445 is a very weak GPU. It is not much more powerful...

However, the Radeon R7 M445 is a very weak GPU. It is not much more powerful than a nVidia 920m which is a bit weaker than the integrated Intel HD 620 graphics core.
