DELL INSPIRON 9200 BATTERY PROBLEM

Hello,
When I attempt to attach and charge my battery on my Dell 9200 the AC power won't work nor will the battery charge. Any suggestions?

Does your laptop run on AC power when the battery is detached from the laptop?

It's probably time to replace the battery pack.
How old is the battery pack?
A typical battery lifespan is about 2~3 years and something like 300-500 recharge cycles.

How does that explain why it will run on AC power with it detached but not when it's in. Also, I've tried to put in two (2) different new batterys and the same thing happened.

Probably time to take the laptop into a repair shop for a checkup.
