Dell laptop problem

My laptop recently shut off ...after 2 hours I restarted it and it froze ; I took out the RAM dusted the area and replaced it ; then it came on as usual and I did a scan. I then shut off the laptop and 2 hours later it refused to power back on . Only the power light came on.

Shut it down and take out the ram.

Clean the gold edges on both sides carefully with an erasor, making sure you do not touch any of the other components.

Pop it back in carefully ... should hear a click from the side tabs as it snaps into position.

Restart the laptop.
