I've been facing a problem from the past week that whenever I hibernate my laptop, it won't start on the next time. I fixed this by performing an electrical discharge by unplugging the adapter and battery and holding down the power button. I shut down the laptop from there on and it worked fine. Now after my last boot I Shutdown the laptop and now it won't even turn on even by doing an electrical discharge.

Solution
Sounds like a classic case of turning hibernation off. You'll free up a few GBs of hard disk space and fix your current problem.

Sleep is less likely to put such a strain on the hardware and software.

The Command Prompt, run as Administrator is:-
powercfg hibernate off
press Enter and restart the machine.
