Dell SyncUp ?

Hi my wife's new dell laptop as 'Syncup' Does it matter which PC is the 'Master' when syncing the laptop to the main PC? & the PC that I open the first account on becomes the 'Master'? Is that correct?

Hello joe2cool;

I don't know about Dell's version of Sync but typically it doesn't matter.
Those cloud based sync options should let all your devices (PC, laptop, tablets, phones) have access to the same files/data.

I think it would make sense to use the system that's most often used to create or edit the files/data you plan to share as the master.

Hi so can you still edit images/files in both the 'Master' main PC & Laptop?

Yes you can.
You'll want to rename an edited image or file. If you don't and it's in your sync folder it will be moved to the other system and overwrite and original file. But I believe it will give you the option to get a duplicate file name warning.
