dell touchpad drivers

hi
i have already installed drivers from synaptics as well as dell but still my touchpad is not working.
the mouse properties is not showing any sign of touchpad.It happened while i was trying to install windows 8 so no hardware issues.

Make sure you havent disabled it. If you are on a laptop there is usually a button for toggeling on/off the touchpad.
