Solved! Dell XPS 13 9360 Kaby Lake Wifi Troubles

I bought a used Dell XPS 13 9360 i5-7200U laptop back in January with no warranty, but it was a great deal. It has always had issues with the WiFi cards getting very low signal and dropping in and out.

It came with a Killer Wireless card which I tried under both Windows 10 and Ubuntu, both times it got very low signal.

So I replaced this with a Intel Wireless 7265 card, and that didn't really help either on Windows or Ubuntu.

I just replaced the 7265 with a Intel 8265, and I still have relatively low signal and sometimes dropping out in Windows.

Is there a problem with my antennae or something?

It could be the WiFi you are trying to connect to and not the laptop.
