dell xps 13 needs screen

hi guys i not to sure if this is the right place to post this, but my laptop screen recently broke due to my own carelessness 🙁 . Now am in search of a new screen but i can only find the touch screen version of the laptop but i own the non-touch. I would like to know whats your opinion on this.... does the touch screen version work on the non-touch ? I am really desperate at the moment because i cant seem to find any non-touch screen assembly at all ....PLEASE HELP 🙁

Hi, I found a screen, don't know if it's the right one for your laptop, but it's the non-touch. You laptop didn't have the touch screen, maybe the motherboard didn't come with the connection for the touch screen.

Ok, I didn't understand what you asked, do you need the whole assembly for the screen, if it's the screen itself who is broken. And, I wrote maybe your motherboard don't have the connector for the touch screen.

from what i understand about the laptop the screen have a few things stuck onto it so i don't want to end up
damaging something but i guess its ok to say the entire assembly isn't necessary. i haven't found any video to prove that but its just precautions and i don't think there is a connector for touch screen on mine.
what do you think i should do?
