Desktop SSD in Laptop

hi,
I´m using an SSD on my desktop and I have an old laptop that is very slow and I tryed using these SSD on it and when i tryied to boot it said to inserto bootable disk.
Is there anything i can do?

You need a bootable USB or Windows CD to make it boot and the SSD not to have Windows on it already. You can't use the same copy you used in your desktop
