I have a DVR with DISH and will be canceling DISH soon. There are programs I recorded on the DVR that I would like to save. Does anyone know how to do this? The PC is a laptop running Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

You'll need to convert those .dvr files first were your PC will be able to recognize them and you'll be able to save them. Please do refer to this thread that might help.
