Solved! dismantling Samsung LCD screen base

would like to dismantle this monitor base for cleaning -- can anyone say how to take this appart?

this is from a syncmaster 225bw .. maybe there is some kind of service manual?

doesn't seem to allow uploading of images, but here is one I found:

there are no visible bolt or screw heads, so figure some of the panels snap loose but would rather some advice before I risk breaking some clips ..

I can see screws on the vesa mount, take those off, should pop off. Not sure why you need to remove the base to clean it though. Or do you want to fully take apart the stand? That is probably not a good idea, although there should be clips to remove the base from the arm on the bottom you can push in/out.
