Display issues on asus n550jv

Hello there,
If there is a good soul that had expirienced the same problem or knows where the problem might be i would be gratefull for the answer.
I own an Asus n550jv laptop (not a touch screen). (full hd screen)
The screen is randomly going black (sometimes when i enter chrome, sometimes when I do nothing, random events), I can change brightness during that blackout (it can be dark black or light black). If i press my fn+turn off screen button the screen turns off (so that means it wasn't turned off only blackened) and when i move the mouse as it should turn on again it does but only for a milisecond and then goes black again.
Sometimes turning off the laptop or going to sleep mode helps but not always (sometimes i need to shut him down and leave it that way for a few hours and then it works perfectly fine as before).
So as you can see, the problem doesn't appear every day, but I noticed it appears more often when the pc is on battery (not a rule, it went black today on a charger aswell) and sometimes when i move him (just moving him few inches to the left or the right)
I went to check the problem out at my registered asus service provider and they told me it was a software issue (since it wasn't going black while it was in their hands) which i don't believe because it has all the drivers installed (maybe I am wrong but i doubt that).
It was working perfectly fine for a month and now I am expiriencing this issue again on daily bases.
For any clue or advice you will make me smile again and save me a lot of nerves.

I'm personally not thinking software at this point.
If this only occurs after the laptop has been running for a while and never at startup, I'd suspect heat as the underlying issue. You can monitor your temps with CoreTemp http/www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/ or HWMonitor http/www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html to see if you are running hot. You want to ensure the vents on the bottom of the laptop are not blocked or restricted, the use of a cooling pad can help with airflow.
Something that may be occurring here (which probably wouldn't be discovered by service) which relates to heat is that solder joints and/or motherboard traces can lose connection when the motherboard (or solder joint) heats up and expands some - if you have a dedicated graphics card in your laptop, it is more common (simply due to the heat graphics cards generate)
Check your temps, see what is being reported there
