Hello folks,

Since my last download i get the "dns_probe_finished_nxdomain" message everytime i want to go to a website. Together with this annoying error was a virus named Mysites123. This virus is known as a DNS hijack virus. This makes sense because of the error. This does not only appear in Chrome, but in Mozilla and Explorer as well.

What have i tried?

- I've tried to uninstall and reinstall Chrome.

- Ran lots of virus/adware removal software such as Avast (premium), Malwarebytes (premium),
HitManPro, Enigma, AdwCleaner, Avast boot - scan (premium), SpyHunter and some scanners for registry only.

- Hard resetted my router.

- Flushed DNS a lot ( whenever my computer starts up i need to do an "ipconfig /flushdns" because otherwise i have no access to any site because of the "dns_probe_finished_nxdomain" error.

- Tried to change the DNS adress (google) for multiple times, but without succes.

I'm aware that my computer has been infected by a browser DNS hijacking virus. Since i tried almost everything, i was forced to make this thread.

I hope someone can help me out. Thanks in advance!
