Do 15" laptops without numeric pads even exist anymore?

I need a 15" laptop, but it has to have an SSD and lack the numeric pad / numpad. I would prefer an ultra book or something moderately thin with a core i3 or Core i5 with integrated graphics.

Is this even possible to find? I've already looked at Dell, Asus, and Acer ...

This is a rather unusual request, but this $450 Acer Chromebook is 15.6", lacks a numpad and has an SSD, sort of...

Beyond Chromebooks, under $500 you're looking at used/refurbished laptops with great specs (and there are tons of them), or 'gutted-out' computers running on slow-poke Celeron N3050s.

Best of luck,

Yeah. My search has narrowed down to that and the Acer Swift. They're both 1000 dollars though and my budget is half that. I'd be willing to find a cheaper laptop with a HDD and switch it out for an SSD myself.

Yes, most 15.6 laptops come with numpad, because lot of users make use of that feature.
I would suggest you to get one with numpad and get used to it, in order to keep in the budget.
