Hi

i have heard from my uncles that making a pc of your own isn't a smart choice since they never work well, but they don't know much about pc's.
when i told this to my two pc gamer friends they completely rejected it and said you just have to pick the right hardware.they have been gaming with their pc's for several years and have not had a single problem.

so.do g skill rams match with MSI motherboards?

my motherboard is MSI b350 oc mate
my ram is g.skill trident z rgb series(x2 8gb rams)

here is the rest of my specs(let me know if they don't match)

msi gtx 1050Ti
core i7 kabylake
cooler master 650 W
2tb segate hdd 7200rpm OR
Toshiba p300 2tb 7200rpm hdd(tell me wich one is better)

do these work well with each other?

Solution
Pretty decent PSU, good choice there.

You have two different sticks? Didn't understand. Try to get the exact same model of RAM, with same timings, speed and bought in a kit, that way you'll be more likely to properly use it's dual-channel

One is able to overclock(unlocked) the other is not(locked).

That MOBO WILL NOT work with that CPU. They are completely different. You're trying to put a Intel CPU inside a AMD mobo, not gonna happen.

Is that DDR4 RAM, which speed? If it is, there's likely little problem.

As you're getting KabyLake CPU, get a B250 for locked cpu or a Z270 for a unlocked CPU (with the K at the end).

What's the complete model of the PSU?

IMHO SeaGate is better.

what is the differene between locked cpu and unlocked cpu?
