Do I need a specific tool to removing mcaffe

I want to uninstall mcaffe but I have been told it reinstalls itself and I need a certain removal tool. Is this true or can I uninstall it like any other program from the control panel.

Hello,

I've purchased ASUS, Dell and Lenovo PC's which all had some McAfee tools already installed. I successfully removed them in the Add/Remove Program section of the Control Panel.

Sure the application will ask you if you are sure, really sure, really really sure to uninstall. In the end, it does get uninstalled.

Make sure to reboot your PC at the end of the process.

So I never had to use a special removal tool for it... yet!

No you don't need any tool for removing MCAFEE.

Actually mcaffee, kaspersky etc all have removal tools of their security software.
