Do I need an amp (headphones)

I'm looking at buying the AKG K702 Reference Open-Back Over-Ear Studio Headphones and was wondering if I need a DAC/amp and also if there I a better headset for that price range ,these will live on my desk and don't need to be portable.

Thanks for that also do think that thoughs are a good choice of headphone these will not be used for audio work but more media and gaming

Headphones is not my area of expertise, I personally don't do anything that warrants high end headphones for PC, and my clients are all business professionals so it is not something that I have researched on or have any experience with.
