Do I need an av Reciever?

I am planning to get the logitech z506 but i want surrond sound when i am playing games on my computer. THis is my build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/cn94Jx. Would i need an av receiver?

No, the z506 will allow you to connect optical output from your motherboard directly into the speakers. You need a toslink cable.
