Do you guys disable your anti-virus while gaming?

I was wondering if any of you guys disable your anti-virus while gaming, and is it ok to do so.

No, a good AV should not effect gaming performance, although disabling is a very small risk, as your going to be receiving data from a screened games server.

I don´t , and my PC ins´t great , maybe less than a the average.A i5 2310 , GTX 650 TI , 6 MB generic RAM.Play the heavy games like Crysis in mediun to avoid lags , but leave the antivirus working.I heard lots of experts saying that games are one of the preferred software´s to hackers that wants our datas.

Ok thanks guys, sorry for the late reply - i just found out my anti-virus (Kaspersky) has a gaming mode.
