Solved! Does anyone know how to connect an ATT wifi extender to an Appletv 4k device.

I just bought two ATT wifi entenders which work great for wifi on phones and tablets but will not work with the Apple devices I have connected to my two smart tv's.

get into the apple TV wifi settings and select all previously found and stored networks and click on "forget network". Connect to one of the AT&T extenders with it again.
Other way could be resetting the apple TV box and try again then.
