does samsung galaxy s5 carrier unlock can be done by rooting the devise ?

i've a problem with unlocking the carrier of samsung galaxy s5 so i was thinking if it can be done by rooting the devise ,
any advise ?

No you don't need to root the phone to unlock it. What did your service provider say when you asked them to unlock it? You should have gotten instructions from them.
