Doesn't turn on

I bought an asus GL551JW-DS71 last week and it was working fine until it shut down randomly and then would only turn on for two seconds and then turn off. I let it charge thinking the battery was dead but now it wont turn on. Its completely dead. Please help

Leave it plugged in, but remove the battery. Now try powering on. If that does or does not help, you should seek an RMA with the merchant or Asus.
