dolby atmos for existing receiver

Is it possible to get atmos sound with existing receiver, which plays dolby true hd sound.

Unless you have a rare receiver that is capable of being Atmos updated the answer is no.
There were a few like that when Atmos was coming out but not yet released. You would likely need additional amplifiers too.
