honestly though this is not surprising since it is expected. the vast majority of earbuds i would say fall into the same category of not being held together with anything but either glue or snap together parts and it is a given that parts are going to be small.

What fail in phones are the cables. No cable, nothing to break really. The problem will be, they are so small, easy to lose!
