Unfortunately, my Galaxy S5 doesn't have a "Magnification Gestures" in Accessibility.
Any more ideas how to turn off the double tap Zoom stuff?

Solution
The S5 does have that option. To turn it off/on...

Version 1...

1. Press the Home key 'three times quickly'. This will open up the direct access option.
2. Now select "Accessibility" and then tap "Vision".
3. Here tap "Magnification gestures".
4. Here you can choose to turn it on or off.

Version 2...

1. On a home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen. This opens the "notification" panel.
2. Now tap "settings" and then locate the "Personalization" section.
3. Here tap "Accessibility", then "Vision" and finally "Manification gestures".
4. Here you can choose to turn it on or off.
