I want to download photos from my old IPHONE to computer my old phone is de-activated

take the usb cable and plug the phone into the computer. open my computer and you will see an iphone added to the list of harddrives. you will be able to copy the photos off but you will not be able to add anything to the phone. you will have to use iTunes to add anything to the phone.

If your photos are taken with the iPhone's built-in camera, you can make use of Windows import utility.
1. Connect your iPhone to computer using the USB cable.
2. Select "Import pictures and videos using Windows" from the popup AutoPlay window.
3. Click on the "Import" button to transfer videos from iPhone to "My Pictures".
