how do I download photos from my Nokia 3

A tad confused. Are you trying to get photos off of that device? If that is the case, then is there a problem with the device, or are you just asking how to get them off in general? It makes a difference.

Thanks for the reply. I am trying to download photos from Nokia 3 phone to a computer. The problem seems to be that the phone is android where as the computer is (the dreaded) windows10.

Oh, well then it shouldn't be a problem. Just connect the phone to the computer via USB cord. It should then give you, on the phone, the option to choose how you want it to connect to the device. Windows may need to install drivers also. Once it is set, then you just need to locate the photos on the phone (from the computer) and then copy or move them all (you can do all at once if they are all in one folder on the phone) to an empty folder on the computer. It is just like moving them on and off an external drive, thumb drive, etc.
